Tasting Notes: Floral, Cocoa, Lime
Origin: Idido, Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia
Idido is the name of the village where this Ethiopian coffee is grown and processed, within the micro-region of Yirgacheffe. Coffees from the lush forests here tend to have nuanced floral characteristics, lovely sweetness, and bright acidity... and they are are often some of the first coffees many of us fall in love with as we find ourselves going down the specialty coffee rabbit hole! This washed Yirgacheffe has those classic notes of jasmine and lively citrus (look for bergamot and lime). Tea-like and delicate, the flavor profile is rounded out with a soft hint of cocoa powder.
