Origin: La Libertad, Huehuetenango, Guatemala
Process: Washed
In their family-run enterprise of small coffee farms in western Huehuetenango, including the gorgeous Finca Punta del Cerro, acclaimed producer Aurelio Villatoro and his sons strive for the absolute best coffee in Guatemala. Their dedication and passion are apparent in the awards their coffees consistently win and in every sip of this Finca Punta del Cerro Pacamara.
The Pacamara coffee tree is a hybrid of the Pacas and Maragogipe varietals, designed to combine the best of both. Pacamara coffees tend to have intense aromas, complex flavor, and luscious mouthful. We're certainly finding all of that in this cup, which is savory in the best way, with notes of olive oil, golden raisins, and culinary herbs.
